About e-Volution

The central goal of e-volution is to help teachers and trainers discover and share innovative ways of using technology to enhance teaching and learning. The e-volution conference provides a free forum in which educators share “best practices” examples of technology use at university, community college, K-12 and other learning environments. The aim of e-volution is to facilitate dialog about the effective use of existing and emerging technologies in learning environments.

This year we are proud to announce new partnerships with the Wyoming Distance Learning Center and the UW College of Education as well as our continuing partners: The Outreach School, Ellbogen Center for Teaching & Learning, UW Libraries and the Wyoming School-University Partnership.

This years conference will September 22 & 23 in Laramie, and will feature three tracks and everything from paper presentations to hands on experience with different hardware and software. Sessions will cover everything from introductions to podcasting, blogging, and other web 2.0 technologies, up to more advanced skill sets, discussions of pedagogy, and more! If you would like something specific please let us know, and you’re interested in presenting see the Request For Proposals area.

All of e-Volution’s sessions will be available via the web both live and archived for review later. If you can’t make the conference please visit the Elluminate links for each session and let us hear from you! Thank you for your interest in e-Volution and we hope you enjoy the conference as much as we do!
